Deputy Michael Fitzmaurice asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of cattle that were traded in a mart and then slaughtered within 30 days of the sale in each of the years 2016 to 2018 and to date in 2019; the number of herd owners that purchased the livestock; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
