Ceist:

1927. Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government further to Parliamentary Question No. 1545 of 17 April 2019, when the revision of the grant scheme to householders that incur expenditure directly as a result of having to upgrade their wastewater systems following an inspection by their local authority will be completed and implemented; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Work is at an advanced stage of development of the new scheme referred to by the Deputy. I expect that the process will be substantially completed over the coming month when the necessary regulations dealing with the financial assistance arrangements and related administrative matters are put in place. This will enable a circular letter, terms and conditions, guidance and the application form to issue to local authorities shortly thereafter.
