Deputy Micheál Martin asked the Minister for Health the number of children diagnosed with potential trisomy 18 or Edward's syndrome at antenatal screening nationally; when this information gathering was commenced; if it is done in each maternity hospital and fertility clinics; if this information is not collated, the reason for same; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
