627. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection when a decision in respect of an invalidity pension will be issued in the case of a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [37132/19]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe gentleman referred to has been awarded invalidity pension with effect from 09 May 2019. Payment will issue to his nominated bank account on 19 September 2019. Any arrears due from 09 May 2019 to 18 September 2019 (less any overlapping social welfare payment) will issue as soon as possible. The gentleman in question was notified of this decision on 09 September 2019.
