592. Deputy Brendan Howlin asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection when a claim for illness benefit in respect of a person (details supplied) will be processed to completion; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [39429/19]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person concerned is currently a qualified adult on her partner's Jobseeker's Allowance claim. This means that her partner is in receipt of a payment in respect of her.
A claim for Illness Benefit by the person concerned has been received and the monetary difference between the qualified adult allowance and her Illness Benefit entitlement is currently being calculated and processed. Any arrears due to the person concerned will be paid to her within 10 working days.
