189. Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for Education and Skills if urgently required additional temporary facilities will be provided to a school (details supplied) while it awaits a new school building. [43019/19]
Amharc ar fhreagraI can confirm to the Deputy that the school in question was approved significant capital funding, in January 2019, under the Additional School Accommodation Scheme which includes prefab replacement. In assessing the application for interim accommodation, my Department considered that existing accommodation could be utilised, as an interim measure, pending delivery of the permanent accommodation. The school authority has been informed of this decision.
