471. Deputy Anne Rabbitte asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if an organisation (details supplied) has provided details of its insurance scheme and additional information; if he will provide a copy of same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [43458/19]

As per the beef sector agreement of 15th September, the agreement in relation to Meat Industry Ireland's insurance scheme was that farmers can opt out of the insurance scheme for animals delivered to factories.

This was implemented immediately upon the entry into force of the agreement.
