355. Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government the timescale to which he is working for the publication of the Land Development Agency Bill; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [44029/19]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe General Scheme of the Bill to establish the Land Development Agency (LDA) on a primary legislative basis was approved by Government and has now been published. It was referred to the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Housing, Planning and Local Government for Pre-Legislative Scrutiny which has been ongoing since the beginning of October. I will consider the Pre-Legislative Scrutiny Report of the Committee in finalising the LDA Bill, which I intend to bring before the Oireachtas in the coming months.
