Amharc ar fhreagraThe table below sets out the recoupment by my Department to local authorities each year since 2016 under the Multi-annual Rural Water Programme which includes Group Water Schemes, Group Sewerage Schemes, Individual wells (more commonly known as private or household wells) and on-site wastewater treatment systems (more commonly known as septic tanks).

Since 1 January 2014, Irish Water has statutory responsibility for all aspects of water services planning, delivery and operation at national, regional and local levels in relation to public water and waste water services.
