555. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if the pension entitlements of a person (details supplied) can be transferred from one Department to another; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [47506/19]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person (details supplied) was not an employee of my Department at the time this service was given. The person was an employee of one of bodies under the aegis of my Department who determined the terms and conditions of employment, including the pension scheme. It is a matter for the body concerned (Fáilte Ireland) to confirm the employee's service including the pensionability of that service for transfer purposes.
