Deputy Barry Cowen asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the amount spent on public relations, promotion and advertising for the National Development Plan 2018-2027 and Project Ireland 2040 since its publication in February 2018 by category (details supplied) in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has not incurred any expenditure to date for the specific purpose of promoting or advertising the National Development Plan 2018-2027 or Project Ireland 2040.
While expenditure has been incurred on a number of the items specified by the deputy, this is accounted for in the costs of the specific projects in question.
