330. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the status of an invalidity pension for a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [48235/19]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe lady referred to has been awarded invalidity pension with effect from 17 October 2019. Payment will issue to her nominated bank account on 05 December 2019. Any arrears due from 17 October 2019 to 04 December 2019 (less any overlapping social welfare payment) will issue as soon as possible. The lady in question was notified of this decision on 18 November 2019.
I hope this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
