148. Deputy Seán Haughey asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade if he discussed the change in US policy on Israeli settlements at his recent meeting with the US Ambassador to Ireland; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [49029/19]
Amharc ar fhreagraI met with the US Ambassador to Ireland, His Excellency Mr Crawford, and among other issues discussed, I raised the matter of the US statement on settlements. Ireland’s views on settlements have been made clear to the US administration in all meetings related to the Middle East Peace Process, including when I met Jared Kushner during UNGA high-level week in New York in September.
