Deputy Niamh Smyth asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if the concerns and questions of residents during public consultation on the new N2 route in Monaghan (details supplied) will be addressed; if he will answer questions concerning same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraAs Minister for Transport, Tourism & Sport, I have responsibility for overall policy and funding in relation to the national roads programme. Under the Roads Acts 1993-2015, the planning, design and construction of individual national roads is a matter for Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), in conjunction with the local authorities concerned.
