112. Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Justice and Equality further to Parliamentary Question No. 99 of 25 September 2019, the number of members in the roads policing unit by division as of 22 November 2019; the target number for each division by the end of December 2019; if there were divisions in which no competition was completed for members to join the unit; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In accordance with the Garda Síochána Act 2005 as amended, the Garda Commissioner is responsible for managing and controlling the administration and business of An Garda Síochána, including the allocation and efficient use of Garda resources.   

I have requested the relevant information from the Commissioner and I will write to the Deputy directly when I receive it.
