211. Deputy Eamon Scanlon asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if his attention has been drawn to the fact that a successful sports capital application (details supplied) has been incorrectly announced as being allocated to County Sligo; his plans to substitute an application from County Sligo in view of the error; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I understand that while the organisation referred to by the Deputy has its headquarters outside of Sligo, the specific grant in question was for a playing pitch at Scoil Mhuire Agus Iosaf in Collooney, Co Sligo.
