Deputy Kathleen Funchion asked the Minister for Health if partners of women having an elective caesarean section at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny are not allowed to attend the birth; and the reason for same in view of the fact partners in the same hospital are allowed attend a normal delivery.
