427. Deputy Sean Sherlock asked the Minister for Education and Skills the progress being made in respect of the provision of temporary accommodation for September 2020 for a school (details supplied). [14170/20]
Amharc ar fhreagraI can confirm that in relation to the school to which the Deputy refers, a contract is due to be awarded this week (commencing 6 July, 2020) for the additional interim accommodation required for the school for the next academic year. However, a decision in relation to planning permission for this additional accommodation is still awaited. It should be noted that these delays are related due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
My Department is in contact with the Patron Body in relation to the matter.
