The outputs referred to by the Deputy relates to the numbers of artists and arts organisations that are funded by the Arts Council for that year. The Arts Council is the primary mechanism through which the Government supports the Arts in Ireland and details of the Arts Council's expenditure and the individual grant amounts can be viewed on the Council's decisions database gives a listing of 2008–2020 Arts Council funding decisions. This can be accessed at this link http://www.artscouncil.ie/funding/. Funding decisions are routinely published in the Arts Council newsletter, and historical decisions are recorded in the Arts Council's annual reports which are available online in the publications section of that website. The Council is statutorily independent in relation to its funding and executive decisions.

My Department funds many arts and culture projects also and details of these are available at the following links: https://www.chg.gov.ie/arts/culture/grants-and-funding/ and https://www.chg.gov.ie/arts/creative-arts/grants-and-funding/previous-schemes/ in relation to capital projects. Details of funding made by Culture Ireland can be viewed here. https://applications.cultureireland.ie/index.php?r=reports/outcomeGrants.

Over 1,250 grants were awarded in 2019.
