117. Deputy Neasa Hourigan asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the expected start date and completion date of the proposed consultation process on a Phoenix Park traffic management strategy. [22895/20]
Amharc ar fhreagraOPW officials are currently engaging with representatives from the National Transport Authority, Dublin City Council and Fingal County Council to develop a process of options appraisal and consultation for new Transport and Mobility options in the Phoenix Park. This is to ensure that future plans for access and mobility in the Park are integrated with the wider traffic and transport plans for Dublin City and surrounding areas and also to ensure they reflect the local, national and international significance of the Phoenix Park.
A detailed consultation process will be a key element of this work but it is not possible at this stage to confirm exact dates for commencement and completion of such a process. However, I confirm that I have asked my officials to advance this process as a matter of urgency in the coming weeks and months.
