Deputy Jennifer Carroll MacNeill asked the Minister for Education the degree to which she has considered an open-window policy at all times in schools in order to increase ventilation in an attempt to decrease the spread of Covid-19 in schools; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I am pleased to inform the Deputy that my Department has recently published updated guidance on ventilation in classrooms on the back to school website and this includes guidance on the issue to which she refers.
