Deputy Louise O'Reilly asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the date on which the statutory instrument to change the name of the Department of Business, Enterprise, and Innovation to the Department and Minister for Enterprise, Trade, and Employment will be signed. Amharc ar fhreagraDiscussions are being finalised on the transfer of certain functions between my Department and other Government Departments. All transfer of functions are required to be completed in advance of the change of name of the Department.
This process is well advanced and when it is completed a Memorandum will then be brought to Government to change the name of the Department.
