476. Deputy Thomas Gould asked the Minister for Health if documentation is required to prove that a person is travelling across county lines to provide an essential care service; and if so, the documentation required. [29815/20]
Amharc ar fhreagraRegulation 5(1) of the Health Act 1947 (Section 31A – Temporary Restrictions) (Covid-19) (No. 6) Regulations 2020 (SI No 413 of 2020) provides that a person shall not travel from their county of residence to another county without a reasonable excuse. Regulation 5(2) of the same SI sets out a non-exhaustive list of reasonable excuses. The Regulations do not prescribe whether documentation is required or what type of documentation might be required to support any reasonable excuse.
