320. Deputy Aodhán Ó Ríordáin asked the Minister for Education her plans with regard to a permanent building for a school (details supplied); her views on the space constraints faced by the school in future school years, the need for additional space to facilitate the planned growth of the school and the request by the school for a new school building; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm to the Deputy that my Department is in receipt of an application, under the Additional School Accommodation Scheme, from the school in question.  Once the application has been assessed, the school authority will be contacted directly with a decision.
