Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media the number of staff employed by the National Archives of Ireland in each year since 2016; if there are positions that remain to be filled; if so, the number; and if she will make a statement on the matter. My Department is currently reviewing it's workforce planning in the context of it's changed remit and available resources. Appropriate staffing of the NAI is being reviewed as part of this exercise.
