Deputy Alan Kelly asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if, having learned that the then Attorney General had been recommended by the Judicial Appointments Advisory Board for appointment to the Supreme Court vacancy occasioned by the retirement of a person (details supplied) he sought or received clarification as to whether the Attorney General was at that stage willing to be nominated for appointment by that Government; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
