532. Deputy Francis Noel Duffy asked the Minister for Health if he will consider requesting optical retailers to open only for emergency services on an appointment-only basis; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2472/21]
Amharc ar fhreagraOptician and optometrist premises are allowed to open during the current Covid-19 pandemic as they provide essential health services. However, in accordance with current Level 5 restrictions, any retail parts of such premises should not be open to the general public for browsing.
