Deputy Fergus O'Dowd asked the Minister for Health if he will address the concerns raised in correspondence (details supplied) in relation to the traumatic and tragic incident discussed; if the current policies can be reviewed in view of the correspondence in order to allow partners to support in their loved ones when there are non-routine and non-scheduled serious health checks on expectant mothers; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
