342. Deputy James Lawless asked the Minister for Defence the number of additional recruits to the Reserve Defence Force in 2020 with regard to all three services; the gender breakdown of same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5524/21]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe ability to conduct inductions into the Army Reserve and Naval Service Reserve during 2020 was severely impacted by the Covid 19 public health pandemic. Notwithstanding the difficulties associated with Covid 19 restrictions, 69 additional new members were inducted during the year, as set out in the table below:
