160. Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Transport the procedure used by the Road Safety Authority, RSA, to renew a learner permit when a learner driver has been disqualified and their permit expires before the disqualification period ends; and if he will make a statement on the matter. This is an operational matter for the Road Safety Authority. I have referred the question to the Authority for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response is not received within 10 days.
