156. Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Taoiseach if he will use the opportunity presented by the postponement of the 2021 Census to ensure that the arts are included as a distinct industry separate from recreation and sport for the purpose of statistical analysis on employment in the next census and all future censuses. The Central Statistics Office (CSO) has already published the following statistics relating to the Arts Industry and associated occupations following Census 2016. These tables use NACE (Nomenclature of Economic Activities), the European statistical classification of economic activities and Standard Occupation Coding 2010.
