455. Deputy Chris Andrews asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media the financial supports that were availed of in 2019 by organisers of underage sport summer camps; the financial support in relation to same; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [30566/21]
Amharc ar fhreagraSport Ireland, which is funded by my Department, is the statutory body with responsibility for the development of sport, increasing participation at all levels and raising standards. This includes the allocation of funding to sporting organisations across a variety of funding schemes.
I have referred the Deputy's question to Sport Ireland for direct reply in relation to financial supports for sport summer camps. I would ask the Deputy to inform my office if a reply is not received within 10 working days.
