Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of instances in which a member of his Departmental investigations unit has accompanied Irish Greyhound Board staff to search and inspect registered greyhound trainers and non-registered trainers facilities in the past four years to date. Occasionally authorised officers of the Investigations Division of my Department accompany staff from this body while they are carrying out enforcement activity. I can confirm that this occurred six times in the past four years.
