I propose to take Questions Nos. 1177 and 1194 together.

The definitive budgetary allocations across the Department will be set out in the 2022 Revised Estimates Volume (REV) which will be published later this year. It is important to point out that at a technical level, this REV does not include a dedicated heading for farm safety.

In line with announcements on budget day, I wish to confirm my Department has earmarked an additional €2million for farm safety expenditure in 2022.

The funding for dedicated European Innovation Partnership Farm Safety projects will remain under the current subhead and is additional funding to the dedicated farm safety budget.
