439. Deputy Thomas Gould asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science if his attention has been drawn to the difficulties facing a training centre (details supplied) in renewing its lease; and if his Department will provide assistance to the organisation in this regard. From inquiries made by my officials with Cork Education and Training Board, I understand that the Manager of the Community Training Centre has received a verbal agreement from their landlord to offer a 5 year lease commencing January 2022 and that the ETB expects the matter to be resolved in the coming weeks.
