Deputy Ivana Bacik asked the Minister for Health the strategies he plans to put in place to implement the World Health Organization recommendation that all countries assess the burden of stillbirths and neonatal deaths at a national level; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The National Women & Infants Health Programme has been established within the HSE to lead the management, organisation and delivery of maternity, gynaecology and neonatal services. I am therefore referring this enquiry to the HSE for direct reply to you, as soon as possible.
