185. Deputy Matt Shanahan asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science his plans for the proposed technological university of the south east to acquire staff and fund a campus in County Wicklow; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10198/22]
Amharc ar fhreagraStaffing matters and the appropriate development or operation of any campus of the new multi-campus South East Technological University will upon its establishment be a matter in the first instance for the governing body of the new university. IT Carlow currently operates a campus presence at Rathnew, Co. Wicklow and to the Department's knowledge there are no plans to expand that presence.
