Deputy Catherine Connolly asked the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications when the finalised terms and conditions for the first offshore wind-specific RESS auction, ORESS 1, will be published; when he expects his Department to complete its review of the submissions received in the public consultation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department recently hosted a public consultation on the draft terms and conditions for the first offshore wind-specific RESS auction, ORESS 1. This consultation received 156 submissions. These submissions are currently under review and my Department intends to issue a formal consultation response in the comings months prior to seeking Government approval to final terms and conditions by end Quarter 2 as set out in the 2021 Climate Action Plan.
