Deputy Colm Burke asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage the amount that was granted for housing adaptation grants for older persons and persons with a disability from 2020 to January 2022; the number who availed of the grants; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department provides funding under the suite of Housing Adaptation Grants for Older People and People with a Disability, to assist people in private houses to make their accommodation more suitable for their needs. Details on the number of grants paid and the amount spent for the past two years by all local authorities, are available on my Department's website at the following link:
