Deputy Jennifer Carroll MacNeill asked the Minister for Education if she will ensure that a timely response is issued to a school (details supplied) on its submission of a detailed cost analysis plan to the building section of her Department; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe school to which the Deputy refers was approved a school building project under my Department's Additional School Accommodation (ASA) Scheme.
Recently a revised cost plan was received and reviewed by the Department. It was noted during this review that pertinent information relating to the project was outstanding and this was subsequently requested in February 2022.
My Department awaits submission of this requested information from the school authorities in order to move forward to the next stage of the project.
