362. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if a passport will issue in the case of a person (details supplied); the progress to date in the processing of the application; if all efforts can be made to ensure the passport issues in time for travel; and if he will make a statement on the matter. With regard to the specific application about which the Deputy has enquired, the Passport Service contacted the applicant's parent directly on 14 March 2022 to provide an update on the status of the passport application.
