Deputy Cathal Crowe asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if his Department has received and considered an application from the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage or the Department of Transport in respect of funding sought by Clare County Council to make its imminent takeover of sites (details supplied) a success. I have not received any application for funding in relation to Clare County Council from either the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government or the Department of Transport. This is a matter for the two Departments.
