617. Deputy John Lahart asked the Minister for Justice the reason that the Probate Office is not responding to calls from the public or from solicitors; the reason that the office does not return calls that are made to it; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [24794/22]
Amharc ar fhreagraManagement of the courts, operational matters and logistical functions are the responsibility of the judiciary and Courts Service, which are independent in exercising their functions under the Courts Service Act 1998 and given the separation of powers in the Constitution.
