Deputy Thomas Pringle asked the Minister for Health the steps that are being taken to recruit and retain a safe number of midwives specifically at Letterkenny University Hospital in order to allow for the full implementation of the national maternity strategy at the hospital, including the provision for home births which still represent an unmet demand in County Donegal.
