Deputy Michael Ring asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science the State boards that are under his remit; the details of each State board; the details of all the persons who are currently on each board in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The document attached contains the details of the eight bodies known to us as “non commercial State Bodies” or "aegis bodies". Neither the DIAS Council nor the Student Grant Appeals Board are deemed to be an “aegis body”.
