336. Deputy Denis Naughten asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine further to Parliamentary Question No. 394 of 19 May 2022, when the review of S.I. No. 49 of 2016 will be completed; if he will extend this to the organic dairy sector; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [36865/22]
Amharc ar fhreagraOn the issue raised in relation to legislation for dairy producer organisations, the existing legislation, S.I. No. 49 of 2016, is currently being examined with a view to extending similar provisions to additional agricultural sectors including the dairy sector (including organic systems). It is anticipated that this process will be finalised in the coming months.
