Deputy Eamon Scanlon asked the Minister for Education further to Parliamentary Question No. 420 of 5 February 2025, if she will provide an update regarding the transfer of a site (details supplied) in County Sligo; the reason for ongoing delays; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm that my Department has recently approved the surrender of our lease interest on the property in question. My Department has sent an instruction to our legal representatives to progress the legal formalities relating to this matter and this process is ongoing.
