Deputy Barry Heneghan asked the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration if he will provide details on the current level of community policing resources allocated to Dublin city centre, including the number of Gardaí assigned to community policing duties for 2023 and 2024, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraCommunity policing is at the heart of An Garda Síochána, and all Gardaí have a role to play in community policing in the course of carrying out their duties. Community policing is also fundamental to the new Garda Operating Model which is now fully commenced in all 21 Garda Divisions.
