The Joint Committee on Communications, Climate Action and Environment has published a report on decarbonising domestic transport and e-cars.
The report recommends that electric cars be exempt from tolls on certain roads and and be liable for a reduced rate of motor tax. It also asks the Government to consider increasing the SEAI grant awarded for the purchase of electric vehicles.
