The Houses of the Oireachtas would like to hear from children and grandchildren of the 101 people returned for an Irish constituency in the general election of December 1918.
This is part of our preparations to commemorate the centenary of the First Dáil. The first public sitting of the Dáil was held in the Mansion House, Dublin, on 21 January 1919.
In January 2019 and throughout the year, we will hold a series of events to mark this important milestone in Ireland’s history.
